once upon a weekend + giveaway!


My Favorite Things This Week:

-the gift of 73 degree summer weather in November
-a brisk run down by the river
-the sound of Zooey's voice for Christmas (check out She & Him)
-planning our annual Ugly Sweater Christmas party!
-Thanksgiving menu planning
-learning that my baby sis will spend a week of Christmas vacation with me
-listening to my 4 year old tell the story of Milgroes and Indians (er... Pilgrims... hahaha)

and to answer your question, I've been sewing a tree skirt and making one of those felt trees for the kids to take ornaments on and off at their whim.

Her headbands are so sweet! I think I would choose the bright flower headband, probably attached to an alligator clip instead of a headband, though. My daughter has a hard time keeping headbands on!
