TODAY'S GIVEAWAY:
When I was a student at BYU, I took a textiles class. At first, I didn't think I'd like it. But as it turned out, I actually LOVED it! I loved learning the differences between synthetic and natural fibers. I loved memorizing different types of fabric, their uses, and properties. I have a whole notebook full of swatch samples and descriptions. Fabric has become my new obsession lately, and I just love touching and swooning over different fabrics, and feeling its "hand." A few months ago, Dana Willard (from the blog MADE), published a book all about fabric, called Fabrics A to Z. I am all for "continuing education," so I bought the book right away, and I love it. It's such a great resource to have on hand.

And guess what-- when I bought one for myself, I actually bought another one to giveaway! Yep, I will be shipping this book to the winner. (This giveaway isn't affiliated with Dana in any way. I purchased the book on my own, and love it, so I'm excited to share a copy with the lucky winner)!

I now follow via GFC. I am SO happy I found your blog. Not for the giveaways only, but because I can tell you have great content. I have a box full of fabric swatches from my Textile class 30 years ago. The only thing I kept from my college days. Now that I sell vintage fabrics, I think I need a microscope so I can tell what the fiber is. :)
