{Giveaway} Baby Graduation Cap and Gown or Luvi Blanket from Kinder Keepsakes

We have something very special today. I'm very excited to introduce you to Aly, from Kinder Keepsakes. She is offering an incredibly fun giveaway... found at the bottom of this post. Take it away Aly!

Hi!  First of all, I would like to thank you so much Rachel for allowing me this wonderful opportunity.  You really are amazing.

I'm so excited to be here!  My name is Aly Porter and I am a wife and a mother and I love it!  I am a mom with two little girls living at home.  I am also the founder/CEO of my own business called Kinder Keepsakes.  Running a business and being a full time mom can be tough at times but it is totally worth it!  I love my work and I love being able to stay home with my kids at the same time.  I am so grateful for my understanding husband too!  He puts up with a lot :-)

Some random things about me:
I absolutely love blogging!  I love ice cream and brownies.  We all have a vice...well, brownies is mine.  I could eat a whole pan all by myself.  (Not that I do that, mind you.)  My most favorite thing, is to hear my child's laugh!  My favorite color is green.  I received my Bachelors degree emphasizing in Marriage and Family, Music and Spanish.  I also took sewing classes that were, in part, an inspiration for Kinder Keepsakes

I have a passion for creating with my hands and for making something out of nothing!  I enjoy making all kinds of things, whether it be with hot glue and wood or a sewing machine and fabric, but over the years I have found that I like to make things that are "mini"!  Gosh, I just love those little ones.  They are my pride and joy!

I started Kinder Keepsakes on a whim actually.  I have this really good friend named Cassie.  She was the one who pushed me to get into my business and really make it great.  I am forever grateful for her faith and belief in me that I could do it.

The way everything got started, was I had just graduated with my Bachelor's after having a baby (and my hubby did too).  So we thought it would be cute if we were all dressed up in our caps and gowns for pictures.  Well, it turned out that I was actually able to walk across the stage with my daughter in my arms in our matching caps and gowns to receive my college diploma.  It was a very touching experience.  One I will cherish forever.

I got so many compliments on the baby cap and gown.  To make a long story short--people kept asking me to make the baby graduation caps and gowns for their little babies because they wanted to have the same experience I had!  That is when I decided to start selling them and they were a huge hit!  Kinder Keepsakes was born. What parent doesn't want to share such a wonderful accomplishment with the whole family! So, they have now become a top seller.  They also come with a little graduation diploma. I do have other high-end baby products that I sell, such as Luvi Blankets and Minky Blocks etc. and everything is handmade.

My other pride and joy is my BLOG.  I have been blogging since 2009 hit and miss.  But recently, I have found a new passion for blogging.  I am always coming up with fun and new ideas for what to blog next.  It is so exciting!  I love to read other blogs as well and be uplifted by what they have to share.  Blogging is a beautiful thing.  On my blog, each day I has a "theme" for that day.

I don't post every day, but I do post quite a bit during the week, and when I do post I usually follow the theme.  I love this, because as I am mom I feel like I am able to help and uplift other moms in any way that I can.  And it helps me to become a better mom to my kids.  And isn't that what we want?  To all be better?

Well, I would like to do something special today.  Since graduation is coming up, I would like to do a giveaway to all you wonderful "Family Ever After" readers!

You have your choice of either a :

Baby Graduation Cap and Gown
(with a f.r.e.e. diploma)

Giraffe Luvi Blanket

Good luck!  Thanks again for having me and I hope to see you soon!

I liked your facebook page and am wondering when the giveaway ends? My husband graduates with his Masters on May 19th and I would LOVE to see our newborn son in this cap and gown if we won (we've been looking for a small set). It is going to be such a special day because he was born with a low birth weight and we are thrilled that he will be able to walk on stage to accept the diploma with his daddy. :)

I love the idea of using receiving blankets to cover the outside! I'll be making one of these for a shower next month and I just may have to borrow that idea. Thanks!
